Getting ready to leave for Dublin, where I’m staying over before flying out tomorrow.
The day begins in Bangor with beautiful sunshine
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with them in Coppi in St. Anne’s Square to say Buen Camino.

We could share experiences, update places to stay, advise on problems along the way or maybe even just know there was someone on the way that was sharing your journey.
We wouldn’t necessarily need to meet up but it may be nice to know there was someone out there who understood exactly what I was going through.
This is very much my personal journey but feel I need to know that I an not quite as selfish as I sometimes think I am being.
Quite impressed at getting over 1000 hits in just over 1 week.
Keep it going folks. Hang on in there. Only 5 more days before I set off.
Spent this evening trying to work out my backpack system.
It is harder than you think to organise the layers.
I have no idea what the system will look like after a few days.
Maybe I will just keep the same clothes on the whole time.

Just booked my travel insurance for my trip.
As my wife is joining me on the final week of my walk we found it a bit easier and maybe cheaper to pay for Annual cover instead of Single Journey or Backpacker cover and this also allows us to travel at different times to anywhere in Europe.
With extra cover for valuables (mobile phones etc.) this came out at around £100. Seems ok considering it covers both of us for a year.
Any thoughts?
